Description

Prepare yourself for a lifetime of safe driving! Get peace of mind and save on insurance with our state-certified teen driver's education program. The program meets state requirements for 30 hours of classroom instruction and includes the permit test. For students who prefer to work at their own pace, the online 30-hour driver’s education program is a convenient, interactive and fun option that you can do anytime, anywhere, using any computer or tablet device.This in-depth driver’s education program, designed by Colorado driver’s education professionals, includes videos, activities and quizzes to foster lifelong learning. You can take the permit test at a DriveSafe location or at the DMV. The course certificate is valid for 6 months and students can take the permit test when they are at least 14 years and 11 months old.

We recommend waiting until a student is at least 14 years and 7 months to start the program so that the course certificate (which is valid for 6 months after course completion) does not expire before they can obtain their permit.
